The Old Town of Vilnius is a special artistic space where the walls, witnesses of centuries, become a canvas for the self-expression of residents. Like cave paintings, graffiti on the walls of historical buildings turns into a unique artistic and cultural phenomenon that combines the past and the present.

In her project, Svetlana raises the question of how this connection affects the historical fabric of the city, and also explores its role in preserving and updating cultural heritage. These works invite us to think about new meanings of rock symbols and become an artistic archive where past and present merge and create a special visual narrative.

“This project is my own exploration of the city in which I live. This is an amazing city, but to truly understand it, you need to look carefully. This city has many secrets and only by looking at small details can they be revealed to us.”
